This project is about public space as service provider to cities and city users.

Service values and Systemic qualities are therefore the main central concepts needed to provide a rational framework for evaluation.

Public investment in public space grew much in recent years, with new typologies, uses and users, territorial scopes and also a new awareness of its qualities. Despite this, regional or local level projects often need better continuity or integration, so as to promote real meaning as urban systems and provide more social, environmental and economic value return, so as to assure time-life Public Space sustainability.

So we need to address Public Space service values diversity, new scales and scopes, with tools, methods and assessment procedures, and understand them as central concepts in the production processes.
