FAUP takes part in European project KA2-Erasmus+ 'CROP - Creativity Rises Opportunities for Partnerships' Projeto Erasmus+
FAUP is participating in the Erasmus+ - KA2 (Cooperation between Organizations and Institutions) project 'CROP - Creativity Rises Opportunities for Partnership', funded by the European Union (2023-1-IT02-KA220-HED-000157758), which aims to introduce innovative peer-learning practices in higher education institutions - students, academic staff and CCI actors. The initiative could lead to job placement opportunities and self-entrepreneurship, thus promoting the development of community networks.
The project, which began in November 2023 and runs until October 2025, is coordinated by the Materahub consortium (Italy) and includes, in addition to FAUP, UPTEC - Science and Technology Park of the University of Porto, Your Science Edu (Italy) and XAMK - South Eastern Finland University of Applied Science (Finland).
It is hoped to develop a vocational master's degree to provide students with degrees in A&H disciplines with theoretical knowledge and practical skills to increase creativity in real contexts, promoting opportunities for internships, work placements and self-entrepreneurship.
The project also foresees the implementation of participatory processes and collaborations with stakeholders in the territories where the two partner universities are located, Portugal and Finland.
