"the Future Design of Streets" Webinar series
The 4th edition of the Webinar Series - the Future Design of Streets - aims to promote debate around the various possibilities of street design, recognizing the diversity and complexity of urban life.
In a context of uncertainties and new possibilities, several proposals for street types can be considered, and this also requires a critical look at the planning of future scenarios.
This 4th edition is developed in five themes: Changing Streets, Play & Sport, New/ Old Approaches, Big Streets and Outside Suburbia.
All sessions, in English, will take place monthly, on the third Wednesday of each month, between January and May 2023, from 5:00 PM - 6:30 PM.
The sessions will be recorded at OASRN and broadcast via thefuturedesignofstreets.eu platform. They can also be attended in person, subject to availability of seats.
The first session will be on January 18th, at 5pm, and will be presented by Rita Castel'Branco, Patrick Bernard, and David Sim, with Daniel Casas Valle as moderator.
The cycle is an initiative of Daniel Casas Valle (CEAU-FAUP) in collaboration with Ivo Oliveira, Bruno Moreira (CEAU-FAUP), Catarina Breia Dias and Teresa Correia.
