The first results of the 'CoVHer Computer-based Visualization of Architectural Cultural Heritage' project, in which FAUP is one of the participating entities, will be presented on September 9, Saturday, 14:00-21:00, in online format, via the zoom platform (ID: 691 2163 9060). The session will take place in person at MAINZ - Institute of Architecture at Mainz University of Applied Sciences (Germany).
The 'CoVher - Computer-based Visualization of Architectural Cultural Heritage' project aims to support the development of digital capabilities in higher education and stimulate innovative learning and teaching practices.
To this end, the project aims to define application guidelines and operational methodologies for the study, implementation, visualization (including dissemination), and critical evaluation of 3D models of artefacts that no longer exist or were never built, in accordance with the Charter on the Preservation of Digital Heritage (UNESCO, 2003).
Coordinated by Alma Mater Studiorum - Universita Di Bologna (Italy), the CovHer project has the participation of FAUP (Clara Pimenta do Vale, Principal Researcher at FAUP, Researcher João Pedro Xavier), Hochschule Mainz University Of Applied Sciences (Germany), Politechnika Warszawska (Poland), Universitat Autonoma De Barcelona (Spain), Tempesta Media Sl (Spain), and Interessengemeinschaft Für Semantische Datenverarbeitung E.V. (Germany). It runs for three years (2022-2025).
'CoVHer Computer-based Visualization of Architectural Cultural Heritage' is funded by the Erasmus+ Program - Action KA220-HED - Cooperation Partnerships in Higher Education.
