'Manuel Botelho: Obra e Projecto 1980-2008' is the title of an unpublished monograph by architect Manuel Botelho, edited by António Neves, Bruno Baldaia and Carlos Maia. Published by Circo de Ideias, the 360-page book includes a selection of 27 works and projects, as well as a series of original essays by Carlos Machado, José Manuel Soares, Jorge Reis, Victor Mestre and Bruno Baldaia.
The book will be presented in Lisbon on February 22. It will begin with a conversation between Luís Santiago Baptista, Rui Mendes, architect and photographer Duarte Belo, the book's editors António Neves, Bruno Baldaia and Carlos Maia, and editorial coordinator Pedro Baía.
The book was part of the program dedicated to Professor Manuel Botelho, which included exhibitions, round tables, visits to the works and editions, in a partnership between FAUP, the Marques da Silva Foundation, the Landscape, Heritage and Territory Laboratory and the School of Architecture, Art and Design of the University of Minho, and with the support of the Northern Regional Section of the Order of Architects.
