Abstract
Blue tourism is the spearhead for the development of the coastal regions of the AA, for its wealth generation potential and for the key role it plays in the EU blue economy. This economic growth is tied to the social and environmental impact on the coast, and the challenges the population and local authorities encounter when responding to them by developing new forms of blue tourism transnationally. SEALabHaus introduces the innovative and integrated approach advocated by the NEB through the codesign of a transnational New Bauhaus laboratory of the AA. The advanced structures, tools and services provided by this project will boost the interconnection and smart specialisation by supporting unique, innovative, sustainable and inclusive projects based on the NEB Values. SEALabHaus aims to innovate the value chain of tourism and blue culture transforming revitalising and enhancing the coastal tourism ecosystem in balance with the sea as a key factor for resilience well-being and sustainability.
