CANCELADO 'Tessenow. Archaeology and such things' by Martin Boesch Seminar

On Thursday 22 May, FAUP will host Swiss architect Martin Boesch for a seminar-conference entitled ‘Tessenow. Archaeology and such things'.

The meeting will take place at 6pm in the Flat Room and is a joint organisation between CEAU - through the PACT and T2P research groups - the PDA Thesis Project seminar (Doctoral Programme in Architecture, options D and E) and the Advanced Studies Course in Architectural Heritage (CEAPA).

The seminar will be opened by Pedro Alarcão, director of CEAPA, who will give a brief presentation of the next edition of the course. This will be followed by an introduction to Martin Boesch by Nuno Valentim, co-regent of the Architectural Heritage Thesis Project Seminar. The lecture will be given in English.

The programme also includes a debate with the PDA students, scheduled for 19:30.

Martin Boesch (1951, Zurich). Studied at the ETH Zurich. He works in architecture in collaboration with Elisabeth Boesch in Zurich. He has taught (project: theme of reuse) at ETH Lausanne, IAUG Geneva (1997-2007), HfbK Hamburg, ETH Zurich, Sutor Endowed Professorship at HCU Hamburg (2009-2011), Politecnico di Bari and was a professor at ARC USI, Mendrisio (2005-2022). He is carrying out research into the work of Heinrich Tessenow (monograph Heinrich Tessenow. Avvicinamenti e progetti iconici and exhibition).

Admission is free (subject to capacity).
