Fabio Lepratto Cycle of Talks

On November 17, at 4.30 p.m., the first session of the cycle of 'talks' entitled TALKS will be held, organized by lecturers Raquel Geada Paulino and Helder Casal Ribeiro, as part of the Thesis Project Seminar, study option A - Design of Living Space and Forms of Dwelling, of the Doctoral Programme in Architecture.

The first guest will be architect Fabio Lepratto, a lecturer at the Politecnico di Milano and a researcher in the Department of Architecture and Urban Studies.

Fabio Lepratto (Milan, 1984) is an architect and PhD candidate at the Politecnico di Milano, having presented his doctoral thesis entitled Bricolage urbano in 2017. Il progetto contemporaneo per trasformare la residenza collettiva del seco dopoguerra: obiettivi, metodi, strumenti. Interested in the relationship between housing and the city, he studies the contemporary way of living, focusing on the transformation of post-war housing. He is a professor at the Politecnico di Milano and a researcher at the Department of Architecture and Urban Studies (DASTU). He also works as a consultant on housing and urban design projects. In 2021, he published the book Trasformare Case e Quartieri.

The session is aimed at students on FAUP's PDA PhD course.
