‘Bande à Part 2 / Art, City and Landscape’ is the title of the second publication of a three-volume theoretical project by Nuno Brandão Costa on triptychs of architectural works in Europe designed by European architects. For different reasons and contexts, these works became relevant to the author, becoming objects of his fascination and influencing his career as an architect and teacher in different ways, from his formative years to the present day.

This book, published by Circo de Ideias and written by Nuno Brandão Costa, with a foreword by Irina Davidovici and photographs by André Cepeda, analyses three works by Peter Märkli, Tony Fretton and Herzog & de Meuron.

On 7 November at 6.30pm, the book will be presented at FAUP with a conversation between Nuno Brandão Costa, the book's author, Bárbara Rangel, João Pedro Serôdio, Joana Restivo and José Miguel Rodrigues.
