There is now an open call for applications for a post-doctoral research grant as part of the 'Candidature of Álvaro Siza's Architectural Works for inscription on the World Heritage List', financed by BPI - La Caixa Foundation, currently underway at the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Porto (FAUP).

All individuals of legal age who meet the following requirements, with documentary proof, may apply for this scholarship:

a. PhD in Architecture;

b. Hold a doctoral degree obtained within three years prior to the date of submission of the application;

c. Have carried out the research work that led to the award of the doctoral degree at an entity other than the host institution.

d. The scholarship holder does not exceed an accumulated period of three years in this type of scholarship, consecutive or interpolated, with the conclusion of the scholarship contract in question, including possible renewals.

The work to be carried out will take place at FAUP or other locations necessary for the execution of the work plan, under the scientific supervision of Teresa Cunha Ferreira, Principal Researcher at FAUP.
