A call for applications is open until January 8th for the award of 1 Research Scholarship (BI), under the Research Scholarships Regulations of the University of Porto. The grant is part of the project 'LOGO - The local governance of housing policies. An investigation into local housing strategies', funded by the Foundation for Science and Technology.

The LOGO project aims to actively contribute to the debate on housing policies, a topic that is currently at the center of public attention. The project will carry out the first global evaluation of the drafting and implementation of Local Housing Strategies, which are the main support for the public investment in housing currently underway. It will also promote a broad and participatory debate on public housing policies on a local scale, involving technicians and political decision-makers.

The candidate to be selected will work at the FAUP's Center for Architecture and Urbanism Studies in Porto, as part of an interdisciplinary team with solid experience on the subject. He/she is expected to collaborate in the analyses to be developed on Local Housing Strategies, and to be actively involved in the debate and scientific production on public housing policies on a local scale.

The work will be carried out on an exclusive basis at the CEAU-FAUP facilities, under the scientific coordination of Aitor Varea Oro and Nuno Travasso.

The candidate must be enrolled in a PhD program or non-degree course at a higher education institution at the time of recruitment.
