Ana Adelaide Esteves Martins

Ana Martins is a post-doctoral researcher at the Center for Studies in Architecture and Urbanism, Faculty of Architecture of the University of Porto (FAUP–CEAU, Portugal). She graduated in Architecture at the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Porto. She holds a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering, specialisation in Land Use Planning and Environment at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto, and a master’s degree in Methodologies of Intervention in Architectural Heritage obtained at the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Porto. During her research work, she has been developing conceptual and operational tools. In particular, she has been interested in themes related to governance, complexity, generativity, built environment, urban form, socio-spatial dynamics, and planning associated with urban design, always having a multidimensional vision.
