The Call for Ideas | April 2074 #01 meeting of the More than Houses program will take place on December 7, at 3pm, as part of the parallel program of the Habitar Lisboa exhibition, at the Centro de Arquitetura | Garagem Sul of the Centro Cultural de Belém (CCB), in Lisbon.

The body of work Call for Ideas | April 2074 will be produced and discussed by young students and their teachers, and aims to make a contribution to the future that is envisioned for 2074, 100 years after April 25.

The FAUP is challenging the Schools of Architecture, Landscape Architecture and Fine Arts to mark the 50th anniversary of April 25, 1974, throughout the 2023-2024 academic year by reflecting on the problems of housing.

"More than Houses" and "Housing Lisbon" are two programs that converge to urgently discuss and reflect on housing for all. The opportunity to combine the two programs in an event parallel to the exhibition will help to amplify this debate, creating a space for the Academy to go public and regain its connection with society. The meeting will involve teachers and students in the program this academic year, in a space for discussion and sharing of the different paths that the theme can take. The development of this activity in the exhibition center allows contact with a range of solutions that the city of Lisbon has made available to its inhabitants, which constitutes an important reference for the debate of ideas in development.
